Telnet, Internet ağı üzerindeki çok kullanıcılı bir makineye uzaktaki başka bir makineden bağlanmak için geliştirilen bir TCP/IP protokolü ve bu işi yapan programlara verilen genel isimdir
1. Telnet konfigürasyonu
Router cihazının genel ayarlamalarını yapalım ve telnet konfigürasyonunu oluşturup kontrol edelim.
 sys-view [Huawei]sysname Router1
[Router1]interface Eth 0/0/0
[Router1-Ethernet0/0/0]ip address 10.1.1.1 24
[Router1]user-interface vty 0 4
[Router1-ui-vty0-4]authentication-mode none
[Router1-ui-vty0-4]user privilege level 2
[Router1-ui-vty0-4]protocol inbound all
Konfigürasyonu kontrol edelim.
telnet 10.1.1.1
